Nearly 5,000 farmers from across Donegal are set to benefit from the new ACRES scheme.
Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue has confirmed that he has secured places for all 46,000 farmers who have applied nationally.

The Government's new €1.5bn agri-environmental scheme has been designed to contribute significantly to achieving improved biodiversity, climate, air and water quality.
Successful applicants will receive formal approval letters in the coming days.
