The Department of Education and Science has given the go-ahead for new accommodation to be provided at a West Sligo secondary school.
The work will see the upgarading of science laboratory facilities at Colaiste Iascaigh, in Easkey.
Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey is on the school's board of management.
He says it's good news for Easkey and for West Sligo.
