New ATU veterinary course delayed until next year

The new ATU veterinary course will not open until 2026.

It had been expected that 30 places would be available for students in September, but the start date has now been knocked back 12 months.

As a result, the course is no longer available for selection on the CAO website.

In a statement issued by ATU, following an internal review, a decision was made in late January to allow additional time for the construction of further facilities required for the programme.

ATU is in the process of recruiting key staff members to support the delivery of the veterinary programme.
