TFI Local Link have announced a new and enhanced bus route in Donegal.
The service will come into effect from January 4th 2024.
The new route, Route 292, will operate up to six daily return services Monday to Thursday and eight daily return services Friday to Sunday.
It will run from Donegal to Ballyshannon, and stops along the route include Rossnowlagh, Ballintra and Laghey.
The enhanced route will continue to provide new peak-time and evening services for commuters from Friday to Sunday and a new morning service on Sunday, as well as connectivity to regional bus services.
TFI have also confirmed that the route is being rolled out as part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan.
Route 292 is one of a number of new and enhanced services announced by TFI in the last few weeks.
