New bus service proposed from Blacklion to Sligo

A new bus service for people living in North Leitrim is being considered.

The North Leitrim Community Network held a meeting last night where Local Link unveiled their new services for the area - many of which are already in place.

Recently a new bus link started between Kinlough and Bundoran.

However, at the meeting last night, Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott put forward the idea of starting another new service between Blacklion and Sligo.

Councillor McDermott says he got good support for his proposal:
