There is another candidate putting their name forward in the general election.
Sean Wynne, a native of Drumshanbo Co. Leitrim, announced his intention to contest the election as an Independent today.
Mr. Wynne unsuccessfully contested the recent local elections in both the Carrick-on-Shannon and Ballinamore electoral areas.
