A new Community Inclusion Hub has been established in Donegal Town by the HSE.
It will offer Adult Day Services and be a permanent base for the School Leavers Programme.
The HSE says that during discussions with occupational guidance officers and the Day Services Guidance and Support Development Unit, the need for adult disability day services in South Donegal was identified.
APP Training Services has now secured a suitable premises which has been developed into a new permanent location in Donegal Town centre for the new school leaver programmes.
The Community Inclusion Training Services and APP will run their own programmes independently within the building -- and within the community whenever possible.
DCTIS is currently supporting seven people in Donegal Town, with a number of new referrals this month.
