Two new Ford Ranger Crewcabs are being allocated to the Sligo/Leitrim unit of the Civil Defence.
Minister for Defence, Paul Kehoe, announced 32 new vehicles which will be distributed nationally.

Sligo/Leitrim Fine Gael TD, Frank Feighan is welcoming the news saying they will go a long way helping the volunteer service.
Speaking to OceanFM News, Deputy Feighan outlines some of the ways that the vehicles will be used.
