Bus Éireann’s new Route 30 schedule which includes a number of stops in the north west begins today.
The 30X service has been phased out, with the provider saying the new “improved” service between Donegal and Dublin is designed to provide more frequent and punctual travel for all Route 30 customers.
There are now 13 trips each way, every day with departure times adjusted to better reflect traffic conditions and optimise connectivity and punctuality.
Areas such as Belleek and Belnaleck in county Fermanagh have seen an increase in the frequency of the service from 3-hourly to every hour.
