New drive-by water meters for local businesses are to be installed in Donegal shortly.
It follows a pilot scheme set up in Sligo and now it's being rolled out by Irish Water right across the western coast.
The new meters will have drive-by technology for a more accurate reading which will also reveal if there are any leakages on site.
