The installation of a footpath could be the key in paving the way for an unfinished housing development in Sligo to get back up and running.
Nearly 20 houses located at Farranacandy on the Calry Road, are effectively at a standstill but could be completed if Sligo County Council install a much needed footpath in the area.
It’s thought that the site in its entirety has the potential for up to 76 houses.
