New funding announced for north Leitrim primary school

Funding has been awarded to Drumlease National School in Dromahair, for an extension.

The extension to the school comprises of new mainstream classroom, a special education classroom and a special education tuition room.

Sligo-Leitrim Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan welcomed the announcement which was granted under the additional accommodation scheme.

Deputy Feighan said, “This is great news for the School Principal, the Board of Management alongside the pupils and their parents and I want to congratulate the team involved in the application.”
