New HSE dashboard shows how busy Sligo University Hospital is

A new HSE dashboard lets patients see how busy Sligo and Letterkenny University hospitals are.

The data also shows how many other patients are being treated for their condition around the country.

It’s an expansion of how the HSE and Department of Health share data.

The data shows that Sligo had a monthly average attendance of almost 11,620 while in Letterkenny the monthly average attendance is 12,185.

Letterkenny has been deemed as one of the worst performing hospitals when it comes to outpatient appointments being delayed for over 12 months.

The figures show the percentage of additional spending last year compared to 2019 was lowest in  Sligo University Hospital.
