New LGFA President says council duties remain a 'priority'

The new President of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association, Donegal Fianna Fail Councillor, Micheál Naughton, says his council responsibilities will always be a 'priority' for him.

He was elected over the weekend at the LGFA'a Annual Congress in Loughrea and is succeeding outgoing President, Marie Hickey.

A native of Castleconnor in Sligo, he beat out Lavagh’s Liam McDonagh and Dublin’s Dominic Leech.

Speaking to OceanFM's Austin O'Callaghan, Councillor Naughton admits it will be a 'big workload.'
