Cabinet will sign off on the appointment of 19 Junior Ministers this morning.
The Taoiseach is expected to favour women in a bid to gender balance his overall appointments.

Donegal TD, Charlie McConalogue is in line to be appointed as a Minster of State after missing out on a senior cabinet position last week.
The Sligo Leitrim Independent TD, Marian Harkin has already been confirmed as a Junior Minster and her portfolio will be confirmed today.

The Cabinet will also discuss the impact of Storm Eowyn and the creation of a new 'Extreme Weather Event Assistance Scheme' for homes, community organisations, farmers and businesses.
