Work is starting today on putting together a series of new regional enterprise plans, including one for the north west region of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Minister of State for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Robert Troy is today meeting virtually with the regional steering committee for the north west.
The new regional plans will cover the period to 2024 and involve Enterprise Ireland, the IDA, local enterprise offices, local authorities, education bodies and businesses.
The aim of the plans is to encourage and promote business and new investment, hopefully leading to increased employment.
