New Parish Priest appointed to Tubbercurry for first time in over a year

There will be a new Parish Priest based in Tubbercurry for the first time in over a year.

Fr. Vincent Sherlock, who was previously based in Kilmovee in Mayo for the past 12 years, will take the appointment from the 15th of August which is the Feast of The Assumption.

Fr. Sherlock is a native of Gurteen Parish and was ordained in 1987 previously serving for four years in both Carracastle, Co. Mayo and Collooney, Co. Sligo along with a further nine years in Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon.

Fr. Sherlock spoke earlier to OceanFM News.
