Visitors to Mountcharles will now be met with a new sculpture.
It follows a tender process for the project which was won by local tradesman Niall Bruton.
The Mill Wheel sculpture has been created from a number of different types of stone, each having its own meaning.
Local Cllr Noel Jordon believes it has the potential to be a major tourist attraction:
