New Sligo Garda Station still a priority for Kenny

The Sinn Fein Spokesperson on Justice and equality says one of his priorities is to try and get the promised new Garda Station in Caltra discussed again.

Sligo/Leitrim TD, Martin Kenny recently retained the Justice & equality Portfolio on the Sinn Fein Front Bench.

A new station at a site in Caltra was expected to go ahead, however, it was recently confirmed that a refurbishment of the existing headquarters is the latest proposal.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Deputy Kenny says Garda resources remains a priority.
