The launch of a new text alert scheme is taking in county Sligo this week.
It will cover Ballintogher, Ballygawley and Sooey and the launch is taking place in the Ballintogher community hall at 8 o'clock tonight.
It follows similar successful schemes right around the county.
Vanessa Clarke Community Alert Development Officer as well as an Garda Siochana will attend the launch.

Local Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy says 200 people have already signed up to the scheme and he says the more people signing up to it the more effective it will be:
