No change in local property prices despite pandemic

A local auctioneer has dismissed reports that property prices may increase to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ballymote auctioneer Eamon Scanlon also says that physical distancing measures on building sites should not provide builders with an excuse to push up construction costs.

The Construction Industry Federation warned Covid-19 safety measures could add 5 to 10 per cent to the cost of a house.
