No reduction to VAT Rate for Hospitality and Tourism sectors

There will no reduction to the VAT rate for the Hospitality and Tourism Sectors in budget 2020.

According to the latest national industry survey from the Irish Hotels Federation, 57% of hotels have seen a fall in overall business levels compared to this time last year

Despite calls from the IHF to reduce the VAT rate to 9%, it still stands at 13.5% for businesses across the region.
