An Garda Siochana in Sligo/Leitrim has announced the launch of the Garda Youth Awards 2021 in association with Sligo Credit Union.
Chief Superintendent Aidan Glacken says the awards aim to highlight and celebrate the outstanding young people between the ages of 13 and 21 throughout Counties Sligo and Leitrim who have contributed positively to their communities.
Any member of the public may nominate a young person whom they feel deserves an award and nominations may be submitted by family members or relatives.
The nomination form is available from every Garda station throughout Sligo and Leitrim.

Closing date for nominations is Wednesday 30th of June 2021.
