A number of bank branches in the north west are set to be refurbished as part of a €40 million nationwide investment with the aim of reducing its operational carbon emissions.
Improvements to ATM services at the AIB branches in Tubbercurry, Killybegs, Ballyshannon, Donegal Town and Manorhamilton will take place, however, no change in the services offered within the banks.
AIB said the investment demonstrates its commitment to maintaining its branch network and cash services, supporting the aims of the Government's recently published National Payments Strategy.
AIB has the largest branch network in Ireland and employs 10,000 people throughout the country.
