North West expected to see increase in number of jobs created

It's expected that regions such as the North west could see an increase in the number of jobs being created in IT, healthcare and construction this year.

FRS recruitment says there will be a "significant level" of vacancies in the sectors over the coming months.

FRS are expecting the number of available jobs in Sligo to increase by 15 per cent, 10 percent in Leitrim and 5 per cent in Donegal.

18 of the 26 counties in the Republic of Ireland experienced an increase in job openings last year.
