Motorists are being advised to drive with extreme care and caution following overnight spells of wind and rain.
Surface water remains on many local, regional and national roads as well as debris from trees and branches.
A status yellow wind and rain warning is currently in place for counties Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal and it is in place until 3pm on Sunday afternoon.
While a status yellow wind warning will be in place from 3pm until 12 midnight.

Met Éireann are advising of difficult travel conditions, localised flooding, fallen trees and loose debris and poor visibility.
