North West TidyTown volunteers hopeful of success in Croke Park

TidyTowns volunteers from the counties of Sligo Leitrim and Donegal will be making their way to Croke Park today for the national awards ceremony.

The winners of Ireland's tidy town will be announced.

More than 600 Tidy Towns volunteers from all across Ireland will attend today’s ceremony.

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the competition and, with nearly 900 community groups involved, it attracted one of its highest level of entries to date.
