There are 42 people on trolleys at hospitals in the North West today.
Letterkenny is again the worst affected public hospital with 25 people waiting for admission while 17 are waiting at Sligo University Hospital.
Meanwhile in Galway there are 37 people on trolleys at Galway University Hospital.
The figures are released daily by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
