A status yellow low temperature and ice warning for the north west has been extended.
The initial warning was set to lapse at 12 noon on Thursday.

However, Met Éireann has now extended the warning countrywide until midnight on Friday.
Potential impacts include hazardous travelling conditions both on roads and underfoot while travel disruption is likely too.
