The number of Covid-19 cases doubled in County Leitrim over the weekend.
Figures released on Saturday showed there were 10 cases in the county. Yesterday, Sunday, evening's figures showed that had increased to 20.
The number also went up in Donegal, from 149 to 196 between the two days.
Sligo's cases remained about the same: 44 on Saturday and 43 yesterday.
In Cavan, the figure dropped from 93 to 89.
Nationally, 6,888 new cases of covid 19 were confirmed, which is higher than Saturday's figure of 4,842.
8 more people with the virus died.
