The number of new daily Covid-19 infections is rising again.
Yesterday 378 more cases of the virus were confirmed, and one further patient died.
There were 34 new cases in Donegal while the numbers registered in both Sligo and Leitrim were less than 5.
The five-day moving average has risen above four hundred cases a day.
It's also being reported today that Hundreds of people are expected to ignore government advice not to fly home for Christmas.
That's despite warnings over the weekend that travel in the weeks ahead will be a 'recipe for disaster'.
According to the Irish Times, 1,300 seats have already been booked with Ryanair and Aer Lingus on just two routes from London Airports in the days leading up to Christmas.
