A number of drivers have been caught exceeding the speeding limit in Donegal.
On Friday, while carrying out early morning checks, Gardaí from the Letterkenny detected a driver travelling at a speed of 160KPH in a 100 KPH zone.
The driver was arrested and was charged to appear in court.
A number of fixed charged penalty notices were issued in respect of speeding offences to other motorists.

These motorists will now face a fine of 160 Euro and will each receive 3 penalty points.
