Number of north west premises without water

A number of homes and businesses across the north west are without water.

Repairs to a burst water main have resulted in water outages in west Sligo.

Areas affected include Easkey, Ballyogan and other surrounding areas.

Works are being carried out to repair the burst, and the water is expected to be off until 4pm this afternoon.

While a burst water main is causing disruption in Ballyshannon and surrounding areas in Donegal.

Works there are expected to take place until 4.30pm.

Its recommended to wait two to three hours after the estimated time for the supply to fully return.
