The number of people permitted to attend funerals has been increased from 10 to 25.
It comes after confirmation last night that up to 25 people could gather for a wedding.
Minister of State for Health and Well-being and Sligo/Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says he hopes the increase in numbers permitted at funerals during the Level 5 restrictions will provide some small comfort to those who lose a loved one during this difficult time.
