Sligo County Council is pointing out that although the main street in Sligo town centre is closed to vehicles to allow enhancement works continue until the end of April, there is still full pedestrian access to the street.
It's as work on O Connell Street continues, having resumed a few days ago after the Christmas holiday.
The street will remain closed to traffic until April 30th.
The alternative route is along John Street, Adelaide Street, Wine Street and Knox Street.
