A man has died and several others have been injured in a fire in Ballina.
The blaze broke out in an apartment above a betting shop on Tolan Street this morning.

The street is currently cordoned off with Gardaí and fire services remaining at the scene.
It’s understood that a number of people have been brought to Mayo University Hospital – the extent of their injuries is not known.
