Sligo and Donegal county councils have opened online Books of Condolence for the late John Hume.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, it has not been possible to have a Book of Condolence at council offices.
The online Book of Condolence may be accessed on the councils' websites.
Leitrim County Council expects to have a Book of Condolence on its website this afternoon.
