Opposition to Northern Ireland Protocol needs to be toned down - Fermanagh MLA

A Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA is urging those in the north opposing the Northern Ireland protocol to tone down their opposition.

Jemma Dolan was responding to this week's bus attack in Newtownards in County Down where a bus was hijacked and set on fire.

She says the events of this week brought back memories of events in Northern Ireland which nobody wants to see again.

The Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA is  calling for the protocol to be given a chance to work:
