Over 1,000 new cases reported locally over the past week

Over 1,000 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the north west over the past week.

The figures contained on the Covid Care Tracker are stating that 1,057 CASES OF Covid 19 were reported in the counties of Sligo Leitrim and Donegal in the last 7 days.

929 the largest number was registered in Donegal.  There were 163 in Sligo and 65 in Leitrim.

The 7 day incidence rates per 100,000 head of population 583.6 in Donegal 248.7 in Sligo and 202.8 in Leitrim

When it comes to the figures for the last 14 days the figure for Donegal was 1793, 355 for Sligo and 65 in Leitrim.

The 5 day moving average for the North West Counties are 142 for Donegal, 23 in Sligo and 11 in Leitrim.
