There are just over two thousand Ukrainian students currently enrolled in schools across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Nationally, the number currently stands at over 15,000.
Data shows 90 per cent of 5 to 18 year olds who have come here fleeing war in the past 14 months have been enrolled.
In Donegal there are currently 1, 296 Ukrainian pupils with 838 in primary and 458 in post-primary.
County Sligo has 389 Ukrainian students currently enrolled – 232 in primary and 157 at post-primary level.
While in Leitrim, there are 213 students enrolled in primary schools across the county and a further 128 in post-primary, a combined total of 341.
Almost 10,000 are attending primary schools.
The largest number are in Dublin, where over 1,800 children are enrolled across primary and secondary, followed then by Cork and Kerry.
The lowest is in Monaghan, with just over 100 students.
