Over 50 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals

There were 53 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals this morning.

According to the latest trolley watch report, there were 45 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further eight were waiting at Letterkenny.

Cork University Hospital was the most overcrowded with 59 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 506 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
