Over 50 people waiting for a bed in North West hospitals

The number of people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals has decreased slightly today.

There were 51 people waiting in total in the region, with 36 waiting in Sligo University Hospital and a further 15 in Letterkenny.

Nationally there were 559 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
