There are 64 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals this morning according to the latest trolley watch report from the INMO
The figure is a decrease of 3 on yesterday's figure.
36 people are waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital while a further 28 were waiting at Sligo.
Nationally, there were 534 people waiting at hospitals across the country this morning.
The trolley situation in Irish hospitals is a result of the healthcare system not changing in '30 years'.
That's the view of an Irish GP after last week saw record numbers without a bed in Emergency Departments.
