Over 70 people awaiting admission to North West hospitals

There were over 70 people awaiting admission to the two North West hospitals this morning according to the INMO.

40 people were waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital while a further 31 were waiting at Sligo.

University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded with 101 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 605 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
