Outdoor recreation sites in Sligo and Leitrim have received a major boost with €925,580 allocated for local projects.
The allocation is included in a national allocation of €6.5m for outdoor recreational amenities.
In Sligo the Benbulben Access Upgrade Project at Benbulben Forest has received €198,000.00
The Hazelwood Lady Anne Walk Upgrade Project has been allocated €198,000.00
In Leitrim over 180,000 is been designated for the Enhancement of Fowley’s Falls trail in Rossinver.
