Over €150,000 in sports funding has been announced for the region.
Funding for Sligo Local Sports Partnership amounts to €53,960, €26,500 for Leitrim and €39,500 for Donegal as part of Sport Ireland's national €40m investment fund.
A further €5,000 has been allocated for the Women in Sport programme for Donegal, €10,000 for Leitrim and €19,200 for Sligo.
Minister of State at the Department of health and Sligo/Leitrim TD, Frank Feighan, says the funding will help provide a locally led return to sport.
