Over €5.2m is being allocated to a number of projects in the north west under the Community Services Programme.
The CSP aims to support local groups that deliver a wide range of services through a social enterprise model providing over €46m nationally.
More than €1.3m is going towards seventeen projects in Leitrim, just under €800,000 for nine in Sligo and over €3.1m for 35 in Donegal.
Sligo/Leitrim TD, Tony McLoughlin, welcomes the funding and says a wide variety of groups are to benefit.
