More than 500 people are on hospital trolleys across the country today according to nurses.
The latest trolleywatch report from the INMO shows University Hospital Galway is the most overcrowded with 47 people waiting on a bed.
Letterkenny has 21 people in their EDs and overflow areas of wards while Sligo has 24 people waiting today.
