Sligo University Hospital saw a decrease in the number of patients waiting on trollies this morning.
The report comes from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's Trolley Watch Report.
SUH had nine patients being treated without a bed, compared to last Tuesday, the 17th of December's figure of 35 patients. Which is an almost 75% difference.
University Hospital Limerick remains the country’s most overcrowded hospital with 43 waiting there this morning.
