Sligo University Hospital saw a decrease in the number of patients being treated in uncomfortable spaces last night.
The report comes from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation's Trolley Watch Report.
SUH had nine patients being treated without a bed, compared to last Tuesday, the 17th of December's figure of 35 patients. Which is a near 75% difference.
The highest number of patients being treated in inappropriate spaces in the country was University Hospital Limerick with 43.
